Peter Bradshaw inducted into the Canadian Mining Hall of Fame
Peter Bradshaw is an Honorary Professor in EOAS who, in 1989, was a leading figure in the founding of our Mineral Deposits Research Unit which he has fervently supported ever since. Congratulations from your colleagues in EOAS Peter! The opening of his citation reads: 'Peter Bradshaw has served the mining industry with distinction for more than forty years as a mine-finder, company builder, an advocate of collaborative research and science and by working effectively with local and indigenous people'. Raymond Andersen wins the Farnsworth Award
Raymond Andersen is the 2015 recipient of The American Society of Pharmacognosy, Norman R. Farnsworth Research Achievement Award. This award, given in recognition of outstanding lifetime contributions to research in natural products chemistry, is the highest and most distinguished award given by the Society.
