Summary

This case history illustrates the 3D inversion of surface gravity data acquired over the "Ovoid" ore body at the Voisey's Bay deposit in Labrador, Newfoundland, Canada. Results are presented as a model of the subsurface density contrast with respect to host rock. The shape and extent of the ore body delineated by the inversion is in good agreement with the result obtained from drilling.
