The Voisey's Bay nickle deposit is located near the coastal village of Voisey's Bay, in Labrador, Newfoundland, Canada. It consists of a number of massive sulphide ore bodies, among which is the so-called Ovoid orebody. Detailed information about the structure of the Ovoid, its density contrast, and surrounding geology has been achieved by drilling associated with the exploration program under the direction of INCO Ltd.
