Nancy Soontiens, currently post-doc in EOAS was awarded one of twoTertia Hughes Memorial Prizes for Best Thesis.Her thesis:"Stratified flow over topography: Steady nonlinear waves, boundary layer instabilities and crater topography" was completed at Waterloo.
