The UBC School of Music (SoM) and Department of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences (EOAS) have partnered to explore Planet Earth through the lens of science and art. This collaboration, now entering its second year, allows students and faculty members in EOAS and the SoM to express the wonder and beauty of our planet and the challenges facing its environment, using music as a vehicle to ignite conversation.

Join us for an evening concert and premiere of five new chamber music works by student composers, inspired by EOAS faculty and student research questions and ideas about the history and future of Earth.
