EOSC 428:
Safety
1. Dress appropriately. Take along rain or sun protection (hat, rain
jacket, sun screen) drinking water and some food. You may need a sweater. Safety
shoes are recommended but not necessary at the River District site. No
short pants.
2. Inform the instructors if you must to leave the site. Students who
arrive late or leave early will be penalized with reduced grades.
3. Do not litter. When you leave take everything you brought with you.
4. Wear eye protection while titrating or working with reagents at the
chemistry station. An eye-wash bottle is available in case of emergency.
5. Do not make excessive noise.
6. Stay 1 m clear of the BC hydro substation fence.
FIRST AID KITS
A basic first-aid kit is available.
